CUSTOM TRUSSES
TETON TRUSS
Heel Height

Heel Height will determine how tall your building is, how well you can insulated your attic and can effect the strength of the truss.

How to measure heel height

Heel Height is measured vertically off the end of the truss, typically the start of the wall, The taller the heel height the stronger and the better insulation on the house.

Teton Truss Specs

Teton Truss Builds Better

Our truss packages are generally designed and built with 1800 MSR 2x6 Top Chords, We use higher quality lumber to insure a straight and true truss that is easy to work with and gives you a great roof plane to work with.

MSR (Machine Rated Lumber)

MSR

Machine Stress Rated (MSR) lumber is structural wood evaluated by mechanical equipment to ensure it meets specific strength and stiffness standards. Unlike visually graded lumber, which relies on visual inspection for defects, MSR lumber is nondestructively tested for bending strength and modulus of elasticity (MOE). Each piece is assigned to a specific grade based on these properties, ensuring consistent performance. MSR lumber also undergoes visual checks to meet appearance and defect criteria. This combination of mechanical and visual grading makes MSR lumber reliable for demanding structural applications, like in construction and engineering projects.

Teton Truss & Lumber has been designing custom

truss packages since opening for business in 1993.

Floor Trusses

We offer floor trusses, also called floor joist, these are a great option if you are trying to span longer hold more weight and have a quieter walking area, than I-Joist

Custom Design

Long Span

Long span trusses have a span exceeding 50 feet. Typical application for long span trusses are large shops and airplane hangers. Pictured to the left is a 75 foot attic truss built for 100 pounds per square foot.

Unique Design

With our cutting edge MiTek Sapphire software and Blade CNC Saw our designers can push the envelope of what is possible for production. The trusses pictured to the right form multiple ridges and valleys, forming a roof to look like a mountain range.

Functional Design

This 5 ply girder carries wall loads, roof loads and has webs spaced for window placement.

Parallel

Mono Pitch

Modern architecture often features a shallow pitch roof and long overhangs to eliminated posts obstructing views, and help control the height of the structure overall.
